Geeky Minds is an educational program designed to encourage interest and gender diversity in STEAM careers. We educate with theme-focused seminars an activities, led by professionals and targeted at minorities between 12 and 18 years of age. Through the program, participants are introduced to STEAM careers and topics such as the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), while developing their leadership, entrepreneurship, and soft skills.
Mission
Innovative professionals, leaders, and new technologies in STEAM are integral to attaining the UN's SDGs and creating a sustainable future. Girls and minorities are often under-represented in these vital STEAM careers. Our program aims to foster interest in STEAM amongst these groups, while providing them with the professional and life skills needed to thrive in a STEAM career.
Vision
Ensure equality of opportunities in education such that we raise a capable, innovative generation of girls and other minorities driven to work in STEAM careers. We also aim to instil values of sustainability, cooperation, and shared responsibility in the hopes of putting our best foot forward in the development of a brighter global future.
